Techniques have been passed down through generations of craftsmen and stained glass is still produced today for many buildings where both occupiers and visitors appreciate the beauty and history of coloured glass.Perth Art Glass is a leading studio in stained glass manufacture in Western Australia, owner Ian Dixon, is one of a very small group of practitioners who are professionally qualified with a Leadlight Glazier trade cerification. To qualify Ian was required to meet stringent criteria and have professional knowledge of structural requirements and design principles. He has been mentored by the renowned glass artist Ted Gowers from Gowers and Brown Studio known for their outstanding stained glass windows throughout the churches of Western Australia.
