From Plinth to Wall

Now that you have mastered Glass Fusing/Slumping and have made small table pieces, this advanced course will guide students to the next step. Transitioning from Plinth to Wall through the use of advanced techniques you will create a decorative wall piece. Run by Glass Artist Ian Dixon the course will cover vitrograph componentry, pattern bars, drilling and polishing your piece.

This is not a course for beginners and you must have a good understanding of Glass Fusing, Slumping and kiln control.

The course runs over three Saturday’s from 9:30am - approximately 4:00pm and costs $600, including Materials, Kiln Firing and hire of tools. Students can use their own tools if preferred.

Enrolment

To ensure you gain the most from the course, numbers are limited. Places will be confirmed with a required $100 non-refundable deposit or the place may be given to the next in queue. The course must be paid in full by day one of the workshop.

Terms and Conditions for workshop enrolment

To secure a position in a workshop we require a $100 deposit. Until the deposit is recieved your position may be forfeited. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

All workshops have a minimum enrolment required for the workshop to run. If Perth Art Glass reschedules or cancels a workshop the deposit remains vaild for a rescheduled date or will be refunded if preferred by the student.
